      Post Questions

      Hi, my name is Rory and I'm sort of new to lucid dreaming. I have been trying to induce lucid dreaming for a week or so now and believe I was very close last night. I am starting out using the mild technique, for i have done a lot of research and it states it is best for beginners. Last night while laying still and repeating my phrase there was a loud high pitched almost radio like sounding frequency. Then there were very loud foot steps. I was disturbed by this and when I went to check my halls, nothing. Is this something along the lines of sleep paralysis? I could move but I was just curious. please help and thank you!!

      It's not exactly sleep paralysis, but it's somewhat similar.

      Audio hallucinations are common, and usually mean you are close to something big.

      My advice is when you hear these noises would be to keep calm and imagine yourself in a dream.

      Or at least I think that's what you're supposed to do... I'm not an expert on this topic, and there are many other people that could probably help you more with this.

      Plus, I am a little sick and delirious O.o
