So what I found interesting was this experience came from after having caffeine.

My day started like this: I got up at 5:30am (thanks to some annoying bird that keeps chirping at that time) had breakfast and went about my day. I ran a couple miles, then went to grab lunch a few hours later.

Shortly after this(about 1:30ish pm) I lay down and listened to binaural beats from youtube. Overtime, I began to feel vibrations. My head involuntarily jumped, so I tried again. This time, I felt my elbow vibrating strongly. Eyes closed, I actually began to see images. The first was of a forest green box, and then that vanished. The next, I saw two orbs of light. One was red and the other blue.

Then after that, I woke up and went about the rest of my day.

I'm a little perplexed as I thought going to bed right after eating wasn't ideal for lucid dreaming. Any thoughts?

I don't see how eating would affect lucid dreaming at all. The digestive system and the brain are two different systems, so I don't think they'd have an effect on each other at all. If so, it's probably a psychological effect of some sort. In any case, it wouldn't completely destroy your chances to lucid dream..

      But nice job though!

Cafeine make you more awake, so it MAY help.
