      Question Does This Still Counts?

I have been having dreams that I think this is a dream but then I don't actually become lucid. I dream about me being lucid,i have control but it doesn't feel like im actually there. Its really hard to explain, but I have control for a few seconds than the story line continues.

I guess, but if it was me I'd just call it a dream since I've been having lucid dreams for awhile.
Its good tho you're making progress, keep it up and soon you'll be able to have very vivid and intense lucid dreams.

Just a few tips (While in the dream):

-Shout out loud that you are lucid and this is a dream.
For some reason this just makes the dream more vivid and stabilizes it.

-Keep stimulated, for example imagine a rubber spiky ball in your hand (either is fine) and keep rolling it around.
If you don't keep stimulated you start to lose lucidity or worse the dream ends.

      -Do reality checks
      Pretty much a no brainer.

We get dreams like this after we start practicing for lucid dreams and thinking about them a lot. It's a good sign that the practice is working and we are starting to gain some awareness in regular dreams. Although it's possible to have these kind of dreams without practice as well.

I would advise to practice some RCs, mantras and daytime awareness. Good luck.
