So, i've been practicing a new rc routine, but i'm not sure if it is entirely adequate.
I do an rc every time the surrounding environment is noticeably different, and every time i pass through a doorway.
Each time i do an rc, i do 2-3 from the following list, switching it around a bit:
  • inspect the surface of my palms
  • count my fingers
  • finger through palm
  • plug nose and breathe
  • jump and see if I float down

I also do them each time something unexpected happens.

I will also vividly imagine the rc working, then walk around for about an hour 'feeling' that everything around me is a dream, vividly imagining to "fill in the blanks" when I control the 'dream'. Is this exercise adequate? if so, has it already been invented? if it is and hasn't, then I'd like to claim ownership and call it ARVE(Anchored RC Visualization Exercise).
