I'm leaving for college this Saturday and I've spent all summer on a steady (but definitely not school-oriented) sleep schedule. I've been improving my lucid dreaming abilities and my self awareness in waking life gradually during the summer, but I'm wondering if the transition to this new schedule will throw off my progress. Will I have to start over again? Will I stop having the vivid dreams I normally have because I'm going to bed at a different time? Or will my progress remain intact because of the work I've already done?
I imagine it will throw me off a little at first, and am hoping things will normalize eventually, but my main reason for concern is during high school I rarely had vivid dreams, and despite my efforts toward lucid dreaming could not become lucid, even during weekends. Is there anyone here currently in college who may have had similar experiences in high school and can tell me if college is the same way?
