      Someone explain what happened please I'm scared

      Can someone tell me what the hell just happened? I have no knowledge of all your dream terms so don't get mad I just need to know what was going on with my brain. Ok so I was trying to go to sleep a couple minutes ago and I feel myself falling asleep and I could tell I was about to start dreaming so as usual I start trying to control them so I'm tryna dream about this girl and then all of a sudden im awake and I can move a little bit but im hallucinating and all and it's these 3 dudes in my bed and I for some reason thought nothing of it I was like sup dudes and I kept getting a feeling on my stomach like one of them had their foot on my stomach and I was like hey get your foot off my stomach and the feeling gets more intense so I try to sit up and I can feel something like holding me back not like actually holding me back but like I couldn't move anymore and the dudes dissappear but the sensation is still there and I start like laying back Down like something is forcing me to and my vision starts fading back to black so I start praying like actually praying cause I was scared and I could hear someone laughing at me and then I keep praying and then I just snap out of it but my stomach still felt a little weird. I'm 15 years old. That was scary as shit. I rarely have nightmares and my dreams are usually pretty good and I can control them but not recently. The other day I had a dream and in my dream I was dreaming and I woke up in my dream and then went back to sleep like mind fuck right? ! So please tell me there is some kind of term for what just happened to me or something because if not then I really need to start believing in God or something cause that was not normal I have school in 2 hours and I'm refusing to go back to sleep after that.... sorry if my bad language offends you.
      Whatever it was tried to get me to go to force me to go to sleep but I was so gosh damn scared that I thought I might not wake back up.

      Hey Lktadees, cool down cool down
      Why we'll get mad at you just because you don't know the terms ? This is a nice forum, not a call of duty lobby xD hahahahaha

      Let me start..
      You just need some information and a bit of guidance
      The experience you just had was something we call Sleep Paralysis(SP) , yeah that shit can make a man mad
      Well, it's better to say "it could.." because SP is a state half awake when your body is still sleeping and you are awake, that shit you seen and felt was just a dream happening in the real world
      or hallucinations.
      I have sleep problems since childhood... SP and sleep terror. You're 15yo.. picture a 7yo boy having this shit occurring 2-3 times per week xD patetic I know!
      Well, as someone who has a lot of experience about this I will give some advices

      - Don't care about it, because it's not real is your scumbag brain;
      - SP won't harm you and if you calm your mind it will fades away;
      - When you're in a SP state you can go into a Lucid Dream;
      - Don't try to move your body in desperate, it'll just make you more scared;
      - If you see a Giant Pink Bunny, tell him I want my money back;

      SP is nothing to be afraid, you are trying to use a technique called WILD (Wake Initiated Lucid Dream) and is the most likely technique to end in a SP..
      My advice for you is to read more, because the more knowledge you get the more pro you will be in LD and less SP you will get cought.

      Try this --> Induction Methods Techniques
      and this --> DV Academy (talk to ~Dreamer~ she'll put you on the right direction)
      Try to participate the forum more, people here have a lot of knowledge and for sure they'll help you
      and if you want to understand SP better you can read this too --> Sleep Paralysis Explained

      Again, don't be afraid of SP. It's won't harm you and you can even learn from it!

      Sorry for the long post here's a potato

      Thanks man. The thing is though is that I could move and aren't you supposed to be paralyzed? It really just could've been a weird dream but I don't think so because after it ended there was no waking up. I just kinda rolled over and grabbed my phone and was like what the hell was that. Also there was a setting change. 1 minute there was the 3 dudes and I'm in a room very similar to mine and a bed like my old one. The next minute I'm in my room and it's completely dark and I'm in my bed and I'm being sucked back into my bed and what seems like being forced to go to sleep and there was a dark figure on my bed next to me laughing at me while I prayed. ( I started praying because I read that that can help get out of sleep paralysis.) And I don't even believe in god. I kinda had an idea of what had happened but like I said sp is supposed to render you motionless and I was like trying to not be pulled back by whatever was pulling me back not to mention I could put my hands together to pray. Any thoughts on that?

      You were experiencing Hypnagogic Hallucinations, which are a common occurrence among lucid dreamers. No need to get worked up about it now that the experience has passed. I understand it must have been scary for you but it's just your mind playing tricks.

      Surprisingly, this delirious state of mind is really similar to the experiences on high doses of anticholinergic drugs, which similarly induce a delirious state full of shadow-people and auditory hallucinations. About equally as fun, sadly.

      Don't try to do something that you won't believe, for people that believe in God their heart get calmed by praying. For you it's just a desperate move and the key it's to calm down, not desperate yourself.
      Next time it happen, just for sure, do a Reality check instead. Well, for someone who can join hands, pinching nose and try to breathe is easy...
      If you are awake is like SarcasticIndeed said, is another form of Hypnagogic Hallucinations, one is SP and there are other types too
      I've been through that shit too, dreaming state when i'm awake and with my full movements.
      The key is the same: calm yourself

      Well, if the reality check go right and you are in a dream.. You have to take control of the dream or try to wake up
      there are some posts about dream control here, one of the techniques will fit you for sure (there are a lot, so read it.)
      And if you say that you can control but this dream you can't...
      Sometimes we can't control our dreams, even lucid ones

      Again, don't be scared! You will do it and we, the Dream View Comunity, will help you in anything you ask.

      The second thing you describe, where you seemed to wake up but were still dreaming, is called a false awakening. If you remember to always do reality checks right after waking up, false awakenings can frequently become lucid dreams.
