You've probably come across it on here already, but one of the keys to long term success is consistency. If you expect quick results and hop from one technique to another you might be disappointed. You need to get the right balance between enthusiastic tenacity and accepting small steps with frustrating dry spells.
Treat each day as a small step on a long journey, and try not to get too disheartened if it doesn't come as quickly add you would like, but keep practicing every day and night.
