You shouldnt scare yourself. If you do youll just wake up. If its scarier than you expected youll end up waking with a fast heart beat and your body will shake randomly for a few minutes. I have had a problem with this when I think about the people that make animal sacrifices next to where I live. Now I sort of have a fear of falling asleep and I notice the dream forming. You should have fun adventuring but dont make it something to become lucid from. Its not fun. Although im better than before. Seeing the dream form doesnt scare me like it use to and my fear of a demon appearing because of the animal sacrifices doesnt come to mind as much. I just have to think good thoughts. |

I'm not sure how well it'd work, to be honest. I think it might end up just being fun to you (kinda like a scary film, yeah). You'll know it isn't real, so I don't think you'll be too scared... or scared enough to consider it a nightmare. It might end up just being a dream with lots of adrenaline, which isn't a bad thing. |

I'm thinking of convincing myself that it's real to the same extent that I would when watching a movie/going through a haunted house. It still gives you an adrenaline rush, but you know that it's not real at the end. You know what I mean? |
