If you know it isn't reality then it is a lucid dream, but lucidity can come and go. Also the level can increase and decrease. I had a dream where I saw my reflection and I had the wrong color eyes, I knew I was dreaming I went to a co worker and held up my hand it was missing fingers the co worker held up their hand also missing fingers, then I went to look at my reflection and I looked like some kind of half lemur with amber eyes. But latter I saw a girl and a very tall cop, I knew I needed to disarm the cop but was afraid because he was like 6'5" so I was clearly not entirely lucid, if fully lucid I wouldn't have been afraid of a 20ft cop. So throughout the dream I was at varying levels of lucidity but during this described portion I was clearly lucid. (just not utterly lucid)

However you could have a dream where someone tells you something like that you are dreaming and you say "yea I know I am" but really have no idea that you are, in this case you are not the least bit lucid.

next time try something like a jump test, think your lucid jump a little in the air and expect to fall very slowly this will increase your awareness of the unreality of the dream.

Sure LUCID DREAMS are all fun and games until someone loses a third eye.
