      Methods to get excited?

Okay, I have been postin here and there on about not really making any improvements. Two days ago, I was so close to a LD. After WBTB, I used Dolphin's one sensory output technique and a simple mantra and I saw a lot of hypnagogic imagery (sort of like the Tears from Bioshock Infinite, but with dreams scenes inside) on the black of my eye lids.

There was a lot of disruption outside so I couldn't go along on with anything

I haven't been able to replicate that at all. The night that happened, I read Yoshi's dream control threads and it got me very excited.
Now, no matter how much I think about LD and doing what I want, I don't get very excited.

I think this is my downfall with Lucid Dreaming. Any advice?

Also, my body was so tingly that I couldn't even feel it anymore.

Realize that even if being aware of your dreams isn't very exciting, there's still nothing better to do while you're sleeping.

I feel that being excited to dream is very important, I get excited when I dream! I feel non lucids are just as important as lucids.

I mean I look forward to dreaming as a whole. But when I had my first LD, I had that feeling of pure excitement and I knew I was going to have one deep down. I just can't find that feeling again...
