Question Need help with lucid NAPPING

Okay so I am so out of it during the night that I have very little hope of WILD FILD WBTB and other stuff. I've tried them all and I just fall asleep with no lucid.

And something I know about but have never tried till today was getting lucid during a nap. I am exhausted today so I was like why not? So at 12:15- just after lunch- I layed down on my couch and tried to go to sleep while keeping lucid thoughts in my head.

I swear I felt myself almost fall asleep several times and yet I was still awake in my mind.

I started to go into the hypognia stage and I was seeing like freaky colours morphing and my bedroom blind pattern even though I wasn't even in my room. It was a dream forming right?

But every time I almost fell asleep I would jump awake again. Infact I couldn't tell if I was in a dream or not. So after what felt like ages (Was infact fifteen minutes) I did a nose plug RC and sure enough I was still awake.

I don't know, I lost patience and gave up after that.

I was probably doing it wrong somehow... So if anyone knows how to do it properly, tips would be great.

I had lucid during nap while I was on holiday, and it was after long swimming, but I didn't intedd to do it, i was lucid from the very start. I have a lot more chance for a lucid during night, and I think, so do you. You just need some activity during night when you wake up. I am not used to sleeping during afternoon, but wearing sleep mask, or making room dark will do the thing, I guess.
