DreamViews Buddy Program - June 2016

Oops, I did it again. I played with your heart. Got lost in endless amounts of work and unforeseen laziness.

Ayy, spellbee here again. I’m late to the party, once again. Seems to be a theme for some reason. It’s not a total loss though. For example, in my absence, I stumbled across this really awesome new music video called “Gangnam Style”. There’s a weird Korean guy dancing like he’s riding a horse, and then a cool laser light show and synchronized dance. Plus, the message of the song is really good – he sings about hope, hope, hope… hope of Gangnam Style.

Oh sorry, got a bit carried away. So yeah, here’s this month’s buddies.

So to get to know each other, here’s some ice breaker questions. Reminds me of that new rapper named Vanilla Ice. That dude definitely has a career in music, I can tell.

What was your favorite dream ever? How about your worst nightmare?
What was the earliest dream you remember?
What are some of your current dream goals?
What would be your dream job?
What’s your favorite sport to play/watch?
And finally, complete this sentence: When/If I become lucid, the first thing I do is…

Next, here’s some tasks to try tackling over the course of this month. To help remember them, you might want to invest in a PDA (a personal digital assistant) so you can store them for safekeeping. I just got one the other day, and man is it powerful. It has a whopping 64 MB of memory, has a backlight for use at night, and it lasts a whole 24 hours with only 6 AA batteries.

Beginner

Report your dreams each night to your buddy, even if you only remember small fragments (just the action of doing this can help improve your recall).
Have your buddy appear in a dream of yours.

Intermediate

Report at least one dream per night to your buddy.
Summon your buddy in a lucid.
Challenge your buddy to a vehicle race (cars, boats, rocket ships, etc.).

Expert

Report at least two dreams per night to your buddy.
Candy Month: Explore a world made entirely of candy with your buddy.
National Camping Month: Go on a camping trip with your buddy, and share some ghost stories by the campfire.

And lastly, here’s a special thing to put in your signature. And the cool thing about this signature is that you don’t have to use a feather quill to do it. Even those new futuristic fountain pens are no match for this signature.

is this still going on? I would say I used to be intermediate but let my dreams slip until a month ago.

This particular thread (and this format of the Buddy Program) is no longer going on. Back when I was running this over a year ago, I was unable to keep up with posting every month due to a hectic schedule.
