      Headache in a LD

I had a lucid dream last night, it was different than normal. Normally I always know that I am dreaming when I dream but have different levels of lucidity. Last night I developed a headache in my dream. I have been searching this and all I find are instances where people wake up with the headache but I didn't. I only had it in my dream, it felt like someone had both hands on my head squeezing. I tried to carry on dreaming but the headache got unbearable after I talked to a person in my dream about the headache, they gave an explanation and I sobbed until I awoke fine with no tears or headache at all.

It's possible that it was just part of a dream, just like when you dream of any other pain. It is not real.

Other possibility is, that you felt some HH - hypnogogic hallucination. We get those when we are still awake while body is falling asleep and we feel sensations that we normally don't, because normally we are already asleep at that time (our mind is asleep at that time). But it's possible to feel or hear some of HH and incorporate them into dreams.

Some HH can be really intense. I have had feelings of being squeezed, twisted, moved, falling, sinking...

      That's my thought, anyway.

Yea I suppose since it was right before I woke up it was probably that I was in between being awake and asleep. It just felt weird cause I am not used to feeling pain in my dreams. Though before I have woke up gasping for air like an asthma attack but I do not have asthma, though my bronchitis acts up sometimes.

When you wake up gasping for air, that could be sleap apnea.

I just remembered that few times my waking life pain incorporated itself into a dream. In a dream my ear hurt and when I woke up, it still did and I found a pimple behind my ear. Hurt like sob.
