Lucid Dream Collapse cycle, please help

      Hi everyone,

So i've been having a bit of a problem for a while with controlling lucid dreams.
Basically randomly during a lucid dream in a split second i get a feeling of no control (its hard to explain) but than very quickly i loose control and i am out of the dream and awake again. The weird thing is i'm never actually awake though it is constantly throwing me into false awakenings until i get too tired and give up and think it is me really awake and i just go to sleep. But each time i am actually in a false awakening. It happens so fast i don't have time to stop it.
      Any ideas???
      thx

Do you get the false awakening and then immediately loose control again or is there any time in between?

You may be just jerking yourself awake. If you were laying there for a long period of time & were trying to stay awake when you fell asleep. Your body may still be in that mode so it's still trying to keep you awake. Sometimes it's just better to prepare yourself before hand by using Mnemonic methods. Then read books about lucid dreaming before you go to bed. Stay away from phones or computers for at least an hour before you lay down. I find that the library is very helpful with the book situation. Most people can't afford to just go buy a book every week. And while you are in the process, you will find a whole wealth of information about lucid dreaming & other similar subjects.
“The dream is the small hidden door in the deepest and most intimate sanctum of the soul, which opens to that primeval cosmic night that was soul long before there was conscious ego and will be soul far beyond what a conscious ego could ever reach.”― C.G. Jung

The methode i use is wild so i go directly into a lucid dream and i do it around 4 in the morning. Also there is a bit of time between the random false awakenings where i am able to stabilize the dream and i have maybe a couple minutes to play around but than i get pulled into a false awakening. It is this distinct feeling where i know its coming and it happens really fast like i become detached from dream body in one jolt and am back in bedroom. I used to have more time as it was happening but now it happens even faster so there is no time to stabilize.
