Music during lucid dreams and during transitional states.

What are your experiences with music or other similar auditory phenomena during lucid dreams?

What are your experiences with auditory phenomena during transitional states between lucid dreams?

This experience has become more common for me lately for some reason, I am used to hearing people talk, but even then it was never that common at least from what I recall. My very latest WILD had the longest duration and complexity of music I can remember, they were full songs accompanied by many instruments, guitars, drums, etc. These all occurred in-between the lucid dreams proper while my visual field was simple darkness.

Music is not common in my Lucid dreams, every so often I come across music playing in a lucid dream but not to this length or intensity.

Is music common for you? If so what kind of music; classic, rock, alt? What type of instruments; drums, saxophones, singing?

What about other anomalous sounds, such as conversations, phantom TVs, things being moved around.

I've noticed a common occurrence for me while WILDING is that I always hear the pots and pans in my kitchen downstairs making noises and they tend to fade away into more of a melodic hum as my visual drops begin to appear.

I've been producing music for a year and I tend to rely on lucid dreaming for helping me think of melodies. Sometimes I'll hear a really awesome beat and I'll wake up and open up my laptop or my phone and try to record the melody by just humming or beatboxing it. I love using the creative aspect of lucid dreaming to help with my artistic hobbies.

For me, music in lucid dreams is ridiculously common. In almost half of my lucid dreams, I can hear music in the background and easily identify it. Most of the time, it's rap music, namely Eminem and it's funny how I can identify the exact song, even in non-lucid dreams. I can distinguish the lyrics and beats easily, and for the most part they are pretty accurate. Sometimes I even check to see if I'm wearing earbuds to try to figure out where the music is coming from.

As for sounds during transitional stages, sometimes I'll hear voices that will shock me awake only to find it's 2 in the morning and nobody is awake. Sometimes I'll accidentally fall asleep listening to music and can hear it clearly during the dream. I've actually based a timeline for one of my dreams by looking at the history of the songs that played (according to the songs, I could remember 26 minutes of that dream).

On another note, I've actually been experimenting with sound and music in a lucid dream recently, trying to see how loud I can get music playing in a lucid dream and other stuff. Also I'm apparently good at freestyling in dreams so I have a book of rhymes from lines I say in my dreams. Might make a song with those.

Music is not that common in my LDs and definitely not in WILD transitions, but my most memorable LD had the full song of Lisa Miskovsky's - Still Alive playing on the background. It began during the WILD transition and then continued in the lucid dream.
