I've found a majority of my experiences in REM Atonia/SP were cool rather than scary. There are ways to transition from it to a dream, it's a matter of using suggestion and expectation. I always imagine, or rather "know" (for lack of a better way of putting it) that there is a vortex by my head or feet, and once I'm sucked all the way through (which maybe takes a second), I know I'll be in a dream. It works remarkably well for me as a technique, hopefully if you find yourself in a situation like this again you can try it out and it helps you get a lucid dream. |
