Question Visitors during sleep paralysis/lucid dreaming

Soo I very recently had a dreaming experience like no other, like 20 mins ago.

Little background, I've been having very vivid and lucid dreams for a long time now, even as a child. I was never really scared and always ended up over coming a fear.
But this last dream has me questioning what is going on with not only my mental health but spiritual well being. I'm currently 19 years old.

I was laying on my side (like I always do) then im falling asleep, I just let it happen and just when Im was almost asleep, suddenly my shoulder gets pushed over, but it feels like a cat is doing it. My side goes numb, it wasn't a cramp, it didn't hurt and it didn't really scare me, at first.
it was like I'm awake and I see my surroundings so I know I'm not lucid dreaming but I can't move to see this force. I'm completely conscious
All while I still feel it moving my shoulder, it feels like it was cuddling up to me.
I try to say something or just look at it but then I feel it in my hands.
It feels like an old cat that stopped taking care of itself, like it was a little bumpy but furry. I try to grab it because now it started walking on me, I can feel the pressure of its tiny feet on my chest.
Still not scared, I try all my hardest to look at it and snap out of the sleep paralysis, but my neck is numb. Then I see its old tail under my blanket
I then hear the weirdest cat noise, it's like a growl but it's almost human like, I can feel it on my ear and then I really start to freak out. This noise terrified me for some reason.
I try all my might to pull it off even though I'm barely moving, I then try all my might to shout. Nothing happens.
It felt like forever before I finally shot up and looked around only to realize nothing is there.
My shoulder is icy and numb.

I'm a little scared because my dad has a very similar story but his was a huge panther that sat on his chest causing him too barely breathe.
I have had sleep paralysis before, I had it to where I sort of can break out of this spell faster than usual or usually close my eyes and start lucid dreaming.
Also recently I've been having scary dreams and hearing noises in my room, it's not unusual for me to hear noises around the house but a lot of unexplained activity has been going in my room lately.

And I just want to know if anyone has had similar experiences. I'm really just looking for answers because I never had a cat that loved me enough to visit me in my sleep, I would understand some pet dogs but a cat is a little unusual. Or was it nothing but my imagination of accumulated stress around me?

I personally think it was the imagination of accumulated stress one, not that I would discount the possibility of it being something more supernatural, but I've had similar experiences when going to sleep for sure! When I was a teen I would have a recurring hypnagogic hallucination where a little boy was at the end of my bed, tickling my feet - it finally stopped when I was able to put up with it until I was deep enough in the dream that I could move and do something about it (I gave him a hug and asked him if he was okay, he told me that he was lonely and his mom had just died). Another one was...I would have this old lady that would sit on the side of the bed, then touch my back and whisper in my ear. It would scare the crap out of me, especially when it would feel so real and I had just been trying to fall asleep, as far as I knew.

I found that I wouldn't be as scared, and the dream fears wouldn't build on themselves from my constantly rising stress levels, if I could fill my heart with love and compassion and smile at whatever I was scared of.

You sound like quite an experienced lucid dreamer! I hope to see you around the forums more!

Thank you and I never seen nothing that vivid, surely if I were I would shit my pants. Luckily is was just a cat.
And yes I'll always try to be positive!

I had the same experience but it was an iPhone in stead of a cat. I have scary sleep paralysis episodes about twice a year. It happens and the contents of mine are usually random. I wouldn't think too hard about it.

      An iPhone?
And sleep paralysis is rare for me but I've experienced it, and I was just shookened up because it wasn't the 'norm' I've experienced in the past!
