So last night I had a dream, I was at an airport, I bought a ticket and looked at it. It wasn't like a regular ticket though. It said (I remember this clearly) Floor 6 and Terminal 175. There was another number but I cannot remember it. There was also text on the ticket , but I couldn't read it. I know you cannot see text in dreams, but I saw numbers. So is there a difference between looking at text Vs Numbers? |

I have personally been able to read both text and numbers in a dream before, but I know many can't read either to the point that dream text is their reality check. I did once experiment with doing larger math problems on a piece of paper in a dream because I was curious as to whether it was possible because you can't do those problems in your head while awake because you need to be able to keep track of each step with a piece of paper, but in a dream you can write it on a piece of paper to keep track of it. In the end I couldn't do the problem because every time I glanced away from a number, it would change by the time I looked back. I'm curious if anyone else has been successful with it. |

I haven't tried doing a large math problem, I don't think, but changing text is definitely a common theme (even if I can read it, it frequently doesn't read the same way twice). I can spot this easily in lucid dreams and use it as a reality check; in nonlucid dreams I usually don't realize it's changing at all and just wind up getting really confused. |

I dreamt I was writing chapter 6 of my fanfiction about legends of tomorrow. I wish I remember what I wrote. Words lost! Also sometimes as I'm falling asleep I close my eyes and read sentences and paragraphs. |

Remember that ultimately, what you can and can't see in dreams, comes down to your own expectations and beliefs. |
