was this a lucid dream?

so basically i had a dream where i dreamed that i had complete controle but it didnt felt like a lucid dream even tho i said stuff like "dang thats a clear dream" and i had full controle i just thought of something and it happen for example there was a fire near a tree and i just said "stop the fire" and it stopped instantly... (btw when i woke up it was like 2h after i fell asleep) and i had quite a few lucid dreams by now and never really had this much controle over one

We can have control in non-lucid dreams, and have very little or none in a lucid dream. So control is not an indicator of a dream being lucid or not. The only way to tell them apart is if you knew that you are dreaming while you were dreaming. You have to think back if you knew you are dreaming when you said "dang thats a clear dream". Because you can mention dreams without knowing that you are dreaming. Anyway, having control in a non-lucid is awesome. I had a few of those after I started lucid dreaming and learned about control.
