Maybe the way you did it was different, so maybe I can offer a tip or two. While falling backwards you must let go of the dream gravity and just before your back hit the floor to close your eyes, the moment you hit the floor you will open your eyes on another place. |

Hey, that's an interesting technique, michael79. I think I'm going to give it a try. If I get around to it I'll post back with my results. In the beginning of my LD attempts, I would try to fly and sometimes would just fall backward in what felt like a black abyss and then slowly would awake from there. |

Bingo, I developed this technique for the first time when spinning technique was destabilising my dream on scene change, most of time I was just getting dizzy from it. |

Oh, very interesting. I have also found it a little dizzying or disorienting at times, while others it has worked. Because of the inconsistency I stopped using the spinning, though. |
