      Lightbulb Dream Restart

      Hi,

If you want to restart your lucid dream, I found a very interesting technique while experiment on new stuff.
It is very simple, when you want to restart everything, just let go and fall back on your back or jump from high height on your back, the moment you hit the ground, the dream world, the dream scenario, the dream characters and dream you will become different. It works every time, even if you do it one after another. It is like dying and reborn. One more plus at least for me, it is stabilizating the dream.

Nice trick! I see you actually successfully used that trick on the recent dream you shared.
Like always, I'm a bit different from you (but gonna keep you company anyway, haha) but the only time I did this (I wanted to use it as a technique for flying), I actually fell on a hard cement floor and the head bang was not pleasant! haha

Maybe the way you did it was different, so maybe I can offer a tip or two. While falling backwards you must let go of the dream gravity and just before your back hit the floor to close your eyes, the moment you hit the floor you will open your eyes on another place.

Hey, that's an interesting technique, michael79. I think I'm going to give it a try. If I get around to it I'll post back with my results. In the beginning of my LD attempts, I would try to fly and sometimes would just fall backward in what felt like a black abyss and then slowly would awake from there.

This reminds me of Stephen Laberge's spinning technique in Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming where you spin like a dervish to stabilize and change the dream scene, except this seems a little more simple wich is awesome.

Bingo, I developed this technique for the first time when spinning technique was destabilising my dream on scene change, most of time I was just getting dizzy from it.

Oh, very interesting. I have also found it a little dizzying or disorienting at times, while others it has worked. Because of the inconsistency I stopped using the spinning, though.
