Now...back on topic...I lay on my back. Arms straight at my sides. Legs straight. I find that when entering sleep paralysis if I have any of my joints bent they will REALLY start to ache. Make sure your head is in a good position or else your neck will start to hurt. Just let your mind wander. If you have an itch...scratch it...otherwise you'll just get distracted and not be able to stop thinking about it. Most importantly BE PATIENT!!! I take awhile to fall asleep. So when I WILD...I have to lay there anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and a half before I enter a lucid dream. But it's not all bad since your body will become numb pretty soon...for me about 15 minutes.
