That's pretty fascinating. How does it work? Does it monitor your pulse? I'd need to know some details before I could trust it.

It sounds awesome, but I doubt it's what 'tis cracked up to be.

I bought one and have been using it for about two weeks now.
It does wonders for my dream recall.

It'd be cool to hack one of those and make it display differnt lights at differnt parts of your sleep or auto suggestion etc.

how much did it cost

I would get one of these if they were cheaper..€200 is a bit much. I would love to be woken up more gently than having my super annoying alarm clock go "BEEPBEEPBEP>>......:@
There are also those ones that are lights that slowly get brighter to simulate a sunrise... that would be quite nice as well

As I said, at least for me, it helps extremely much. (Otherwise I usually have pretty bad dream recall.) In the manual they say that the best time to be woken up is right before or right after a REM period, preferably after. And it really does that. It always wakes me up at a point when I am turning in bed and it almost always feels like I just had been dreaming. All I can say it works for me. I think this type of technology will be used for the next generation of lucid dream induction devices. I can hardly wait for it.

Approximately $262.74, if those still cost €200.

That's a lot.

I wonder if there's a free clock like this on the internet...does anyone know of any?

I also just bought one. Not so much for helping with dream recall, but for a nicer awakening every morning. I hate when alarm clocks wake me in the middle of dreams or in deep sleep. I get cranky all morning.
I tried it last night and worked wonderfully.
But now I'm having trouble with the software. I want to download the sleep cycle data to my laptop but the software freezes and doesn't recognize that the aXbo is plugged in, although the laptop itself does and installed the drivers automatically. Do you download your data? Have you had any problem like this?

A friend told me about this.
He was thinking about getting one, but it's indeed "a bit" on the expensive side.
It's certainly an interesting device and I'd like to hear more experiences about it.

btw, I bought mine on ebay, 2nd hand, much cheaper. It cost me $118. I've solved the software issues. it's been working so very well for me!
