I have researched and couldnt find a thread concerning different methods for those of us who have trouble falling asleep or staying alseep so if you know of another thread just point me in the right direction.

I have initial insomnia and looking for ways other than prescription meds (ex:ambien) and even OTC meds(ex:TylenolPM). *Im just curious of different ways either herbal, vitamins, drinking tea or something else that you use to help you acheive sleep and/or more vivid dreams. *Ive read some threads on B6 and nutmeg etc. and would like to know of others opinions or methods. *Some of the herbal teas I have tried in the recent past have helped to a certain extent but not enough to where i notice a huge difference.
Any thoughts or advice would be be greatly appreciated.
Melatonin helps me get to sleep.. About 3mg...
Kava Kava usually helps be to have some short but intense dreams..
