      "Lucidity" movie

I was poking around on YouTube and found a teaser for a movie called Lucidity. Apparently it's by some novice filmmakers, so it probably won't get any publicity. It seems like it's going to cast LDing in a bad light, but it still could be interesting...

BTW, there's also a lot of Waking Life clips on YouTube.

wow that looked like crap... and sounded like... and felt like...
still it might provide as a small notifier that you can control dreams to the "unknowing masses" (btw, do we have a name for people not knowing about lucid dreaming? like harry potter?).

I know that was total BS. I would get kicked in the balls ten times before watching that movie. Interesting thought though. If there isn't a name for non-knowers, then we should think of one.

The teaser didn't really explain much. But then again it's a teaser. I don't get how you can get controlled by your dreams by going lucid. Cause if your lucid, you can control your dreams. Anyway this film will be a dud. #1 It's probably a low-budget film #2 people don't know enough about lucid dreaming to go see some low-budget film about it. Yeah we should definately think of a name for those people, and then call people that and they would have no clue what we are talking about. Haha

I vote we call them fuggles.

Wait a second, isn't this a little classists? I mean all you have to do to make someone suddenly know about lucid dreaming is tell them. I've told like two people, and it's really easy, you jusut start a conversation about dreaming and ask them if they've ever been a dream and knew they were dreaming.

I still vote fuggles. What do you call people here at the forums that know about it but have absolutely no lucid ability? Cause I vote Squizzeds for that one.

Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.

I just watched it. It's pretty cool, but wtf is reverse filmography? Is it when they do something in reverse, and play it backwards, making it look forwards or something?

Yeah reverse filmography is when they film it in reverse then play it backward to look forward. Like when they showed him like jumping out of his bed. They filmed him jumping in his bed then played it in reverse to look cool.

Well, this reverse filmography thing definitely captured the essence of a Lucid dream, though I have to wonder about why he walked on that tightrope thing for so long. I like the staff though.
