I searched but I couldn't find the link. I had been going through a bit of a dry spell, doing RC's but they didn't appear that often in my dreams. I read someones post saying about doing an RC before every action and thought it would be a good idea, as I do them randomly or if something weird happens. Within two days of doing it I had two lucid dreams almost three if one of my hand RC had worked properly. I know it might sound a bit intense, being that focused, but I only do it on the bigger actions an example maybe, do a RC before you get a glass of water not before you get the cup out, or before you poor the water in [thats what I call a big action ]. You could make the actions on a bigger scale than that if you like just around every 10 - 30 minutes before an action. It has kept my mind on LDing a lot more and before I do an action I get a feeling to just do a RC which is good because, in dreams we typically do some sort of action. The first LD would have been one of the most vivid ones that i've ever had and I want to thank that person for sharing that technique. I know some people may find it hard with there lives, but this has worked for me very well and maybe you could modify it in some way to suit your lifestyle. Maybe it could be called AILD (Action Induced Lucid Dream). AILD has probably already been used, and maybe that is a stupid idea because it is the RC that is making you lucid not really the action. Although the action is promoting you to do the RC in the first place. :sweat1:
Try it if you want fellow dreamers, also good for just keeping up the consistency of RC's.
BTW, I think the person that I read it from had only posted around three times.

slimslowslider (I think that's how it's spelled) got me started on RCing every time I walk through a door frame, which is really intense.I haven't gotten the hang of it yet.

Thanks for your comments guys.

Burns - Yeah this technique seems to work very well with me, still can't find the thread though.

Sprout - Yeah I have also tried the RC everytime I walk through a door frame but never worked for me, maybe in my dreams I just don't work through many of them like in RL. lol.

Hi Flight

I will sort myself out and do some version of your AILD (Action Induced Lucid Dream. I often stand in wonder of stuff cos I get lots of synchronicities.

So

I should use at least those opportunities to do reality checks.

Sorry about the double posts.

I am on my mobile phone and it always double posts. I need to remember when I get to an Internet Cafe to go through my posts and delete the doubles

It has almost been coming up 12 years since I posted that. Now I am doing RC's after what I consider every large action. This technique has been one of the best for me because it's simple and some what fun. It keeps your awareness active on dreams, like there is some reminder in the back of your mind where it could be a dream NOW and if you are out of that mind-space you might be triggered into it or just to do a RC after your big actions. eg just stepped out of the shower, picked up something up at the shops.
I have heard of pro lucid dreamers incorporate dreams into their everyday life even so much as thinking they are always in a dream so they are always testing that they are awake instead of asleep, that shift in perception I can see could differently be of benefit.
