You'll get over it.
This is one thing that has always made me shy away from journaling - just the possibility of people reading it and judging you without even understanding it completely.
I did start up a journal since lucid dreaming, however, there's some things I do to keep it "safe".
One thing is to keep names of people that exist in my real life out as much as possible. Either use a nickname, abbreviation or some hint that might remind you about who it is you're dreaming about. But that's only if it's something I wouldn't want to have that person read.
Another is to just keep it clear that you're writing about something you usually have no control over - it's a dream and doesn't necessarily reflect what you'd do in real life.
Finally, I have this naturally built-in feature about my journal... my freaking handwritting is horrible! LOL! It's about as bad as a doctor's. Good luck to those who try to decipher my chicken scratch.
All the above along with some "shorthand" for words I put in there make my journal not so easy for someone to get the full story.

Dude, that's some set o balls to go back there for that thing!
I remember doing some of those adult pieces myself back in the day - and there was only one which I can recall that I actually folded up about 8 times and in each fold I wrote stuff like "do not look beyond this point..", "You will witness some very vulgar stuff - stop!" etc. All that just in case it fell into the wrong hands. What a dork, as if it would have really stopped anyone
