In that sense no, I am not the same person because I leave all my worrys behind me in my dreams which makes me more of a happy and confident person |

Firstly, I'm myself in lucids, however I am more confident and have no fear. For example I'm afraid of heights but I can just fly around anywhere. |

I'd agree with Adam and NeAvO-- at least in terms of the risks taken. I'm typically myself, but I do loose the sense of worry you'd normally have because you know that you're safe. However, I don't usually treat people differently in my LDs-- for example, if I'm in the middle of a conversation with a DC and lucid, I'll still feel bad walking away from them without a moment's notice, even though I know they're only a character. Some habits are hard to break, I suppose, even in dreams. |

Kylie your avatar looks like it is moving out the corner of my eye when I read, weird... |

In my lucid dreams I retain my personality, though as others have said, I'm free of worries an obligations. |

Soz about the grammar if some don't understand the abbreviations but i thought everyone understood rl means real life. |

I feel different in some way, almost like I'm a different person sometimes, even though I still have all the same thoughts, memories and feelings. |
|
i am usually more confident and less shy in my dreams. |

DREAM ON
Like most have mentioned, I feel like myself, though I can do things I wouldn't even think about doing (let alone be able to make myself do) in real life, since I know that my mistakes will cause no lasting harm. Also, my memory and decision-making often aren't quite what they are in real life, but I still feel like the same person regardless. |

i am more confidence..and concentrated and i feel more in control |

I'm usually much like my waking self in LDs. The main differences are like others have said in that I feel much less fear or concern. But I'm generally courteous and considerate towards other DCs. However, my freedom lets me do things I wouldn't ever do in real life. |
|
I'm not the same person as awake. I don't fear nearly as much, and I feel much more confident. And I also feel much more free. |

Not if you are at a low level of lucidity. Just because you know you're dreaming doesn't mean that you know or understand that everything around you are constructs of your own mind. Just read any members' dream journal and you'll see what I mean. |
