      A multidream adventure (idea)

I've thought about this and might give it a try soon: An adventure of which you create the plot yourself and takes multiple lucid dreams to 'complete'. This is probably the most enjoyable for people who have LD's often.

The basic idea is that you think of a simple plot while you are awake which you will follow in multiple LD's. Your 'tasks' have to be done at multiple locations and are too much for one lucid dream. You complete one task (one part of your adventure) per LD, and when you've completed your task you will (preferably) be rewarded with an item you need. Why an item? Because it's easier to pull an item from your pockets in another LD than to start where you left of in the last LD. Does everyone still understand what I'm trying to say?

      Here's my idea:

My lucid me has heard of a powerful ancient artifact that can boost (or grant) magical powers. This item has been split up into three parts, scattered across the world. I'll have to find these items and when brought together they can be forged into the magical artifact you wanted. Maybe one part was stolen, maybe one part is inside some old ruins? I'm just thinking out loud here.

If you succeed in completing your adventure not only you've most likely had a lot of fun, and in my case it can help increase dream control. Let's say you're having problems in an LD: Magic doesn't work well, you can't fly, etc. Just pull the item/weapon from your pockets and there you go! It was very difficult and dangerous to get your hands on this mysterious item, so you just know it works.

What do you guys think? Fun? Too complicated?

I had a similar idea, but it was more of a TV series type thing than a game, where the plot moves along after each dream. A lucid saga.
      Lucid Tasks:
Beat my subconcious senseless with a pointed stick
Meet Yoda, and get him to teach me the ways of the Force
Find out what a Strappleberry and a Masafuchi Nut look like

      Good idea.

      Hmmm...

Piece II: Underworld, full of zombies and Evil Dead style demons.

Piece III: In The Stomach Of A Gigantic, Demonic Dragon.

Base: In a peaceful sanctuary, hidden behind a waterfall.

All quests to be completed using only a sword.

Hell yes. Finally, someone who shares this great idea! I've been trying to move across a plot for two weeks now, and it's been working moderately well. I've got the first two parts typed (scroll down until you get to August), and am going to try and WILD for the third. It's interesting how the goal of both of us includes gaining/regaining lucid powers...

Doing it for lucid money would make no sense. Not really. Might as well do something that helps you in future dreams

I must say that this idea is incredibly sick! I, however, don't ld regularly (it's been two years ).

Also, I find the very concept of setting boundaries very very interesting. One of the things that fascinates us all about lucid dreaming is the ability to bend the rules and have complete and total control of everything and simply by making hazards and tasks for your dream self you are creating the rules you try to escape in real life (granted the dream rules are much different than life rules lol)....

I dunno where I'm going with this but it just seems like some interesting psychoanalytical stuff could be done with the very idea of restricting yourself in a lucid dream!
