      Is it normal to have alot of DC's?

      in almost all the dreams i remmber i remember interacting with 4 or 5 dream characters, as well as dozens of others i dont speak with. is this normal or are most of your dreams devoid of DC's?

      Depends on the dream, depends on the dreamer. Usually I only see a few people, at most 3 at a time, but recently I've found myself in crowds.

      As for completely devoid, I can recall at most only five minutes per dream where there aren't dream characters at all. I can't remember a dream (not a fragment) totally devoid of dream characters. I've never been alone.

      And then there's lucidity. I often have to seek dream characters if they are not family or close friends.

      Sometimes I have plenty of DCs in my dreams with the vast majority of them being total strangers. I have other dreams that contain absolutely 0 DCs. This in itself might be a good dream sign candidate for me. Who knows?, I'll just need to keep recording in my DJ and see if I notice any frequency in my 0 DC dreams.
