How long do your lucids last on average?

The reason i want to ask this is because lately i am having regular long lucid dreams (some lasting what seems like hours) which seem to have come out of nowhere. Before i would struggle to stay in a lucid for more that 15-20 minutes but know all of a sudden this, but i certainly am not complaining. (keep them coming)

So how long do your lucids last on average?

Lucid dreams only last up to fifteen minutes during normal sleep because that's how long your REM cycle is. During naps that number can go up to an hour, but usually not longer than that.

If you mean dream time, then that's relative to what's being done. Through time dialation it'd be possible to have dreams that lasted millenia. Mine are usually about two or three minutes in both dream time and real time.

On average, I'd say my lucids last at least 25 minutes.

If I am going to have a LD, I almost always end up having more than one at a time. Generally the first one is fairly short -- maybe 3 minutes. Then each one gets progressivly longer. My last dream of the night is generally the longest. Somenights (or naps) it feels like only 15 minutes, but other times I wake up and confused because I feel like I'd been dreaming for days. I don't always stay lucid through the whole thing, but I often do.

I, too, have a long way to go: most of my LDs are less than minute with the upper limit being around 3 minutes for the longest one.

Well, that's a hard question to answer. One of my lucids felt like it lasted hours, but when I awoke I realized I'd only been asleep for 30 minutes, and in that time span I'd had two different dreams! Time in dreams can be different from time in real life.

Sadly most of lucid dreams are very short - 30 seconds to 3 minutes.

A few months ago I had an incredibly power lucid dream that I estimate was 45-60 minutes. It was by far the longest lucid dream I've ever had. It was amazing, totally amazing.

30 seconds / 1 minute... longest was maybe 5 minutes... and it doesn't seem to improve at all. I almost always wake up; and if I can stay in the dream, the lucid part is still short, only replaced by a regulard dream.

I had another long lucid last night but i had a false awakening in which i used my digital voice recorder to record my lucid, and then when i woke up a few hours later i couldn't recall a thing! I also had another lucid but againt he false awakening!

I had never used my voice recorder before, tonight was going to be the first night so i am shocked that inmy false awakening i didn't write it down.

Longest would have to be around an hour. :/ i lost most of my lucidity though.

If it's an afternoon nap, I'll probably dream lucidly for a good 45 minutes.
      Lucid dreams, gotta love em.

Average is about a few minutes, I'd say.
