I was watching Star Wars over the weekend and an interesting analogy came to mind. Consider how Tibetan monks use lucid dreaming. Fundamentally, the main goal is to eliminate negative karmic threads to move closer to the true nature of the human mind. Ultimately this training helps in the bardos of death - to facilitate a reincarnation to a more advanced and satisfying next life. What do I use lucid dreaming for: - Flying - Walking through space/time portals - Sex All kidding aside, I feel somewhat seduced by what I'll call the dark side of LDing. Anyone else ever feel like pure entertainment is somewhat wasting your LD talents ... that maybe we should direct our attention to loftier goals.
