      Question about WILD'ing

      Hello,
I guess you would call me a natural WILD'er I have been doing it since I was very little and that was always my main way to induce lucid dreams. When I was little before I knew what LDs were of course I did not have high lucids and woke my self up from the nightmares I always had. Because I am somewhat of a natural at WILD'ing I do not know much about it.

Yesterday morning I was really tired because I did not sleep well and when I went back to sleep (around 6 in the morning) I felt my self slipping into the WILD I was supper excited to be feeling this as I knew it would lead to me sleeping lol (I was supper tired). I don't know if it was because I was too excited or what, but I lost the feelings of the WILD and soon had to start the fall asleep process all over again. Before the feelings faded I became restless because I just wanted to fall asleep already so I think I may have tried to rush the process.

Now for the question lol: How long does the SP part of a WILD generally last before you slip into the dream? And was it my fault for trying to rush the WILD for the reason it failed or did I just become too excited?

      Thanks for the help
      Anna

You might not feel SP at all until you have entered the dream. If you do get SP, then you will find yourself in a dream shortly after, assuming that the SP doesn't fade.
