^ Dream Journal^
Goals:
Remember my dreams a week strait
Have more than 10 LD's in a month
Have 2 LD's on my futon instead of my bed
I simply write down keywords to help me remember when I wake up, and I don't always do it. Writing down everything made me too awake to go back to sleep. |
|
Yeah I write down the basic words involved, such as the people and place, a few words to describe a feeling I had, maybe a few words to sum up events. |
|
I wanna be the very best
Like no one ever was
To lucid dream is my real test
To control them is my cause
You really have to school yourself to remember. I just started keeping a dream journal about a week ago and it really is hard to remember the dream you just woke up from let alone other dreams throughout the night. You get better though - trust me. Just start from what you can remember, which is generally the last dream you have before waking. After awhile, the rest will start to come to you, or if you happen to wake up in the middle of the night, you'll find that what you were dreaming about is the first thing on your mind. |

I seriously recommend using a voice recorder instead. |

Free DreamJournal Program ~ Thanks Banhurt
I spent $70 a digital recorder, best investment ever. |

Right now I just don't have the time to DJ fully. I seem to copy down too many details. It really wouldn't be a problem if I had my own laptop and enough time in the morning to record everything seeing as I don't wake up in the middle of the night (I need to get into the habit if I want to learn how to WILD). When I do DJ it does wonders for my dream recall, but I struggle with it most of the time. Still trying to get my first complete LD! (I have lucid experiences, but not really vivid ones with complete consciousness and control) |

Really? I've been thinking of getting one....Writing down stuff, especially in the middle of thing night is becoming quite tedious. I looked at my last couple of entries and I can barely even make out certain words because I was pretty much half asleep while writing them. LOL. I might not get a digital recorder, but I woudn't mind one of those old school tape recorders. I bet I could find a functional one at Goodwill... |
