Talking Possible to venture into space/other planets?

I have always been interested in outer space, yet i never get the chance and probably never will, to visit space.
Ever since ive heard about LDing, ive wondered if it would be possible to visit space in a dream? Maybe even visit other planets/galaxies?
Has anyone actually done this? I wanna hear about it if so

Sure! The planet or thing in space you visit wont be like what it is actually is in RL but as far as you know it will be real

I was in outer space a couple days ago, going for the moon. I couldn't find the moon and when I looked back, the earth seemed so far away, I freaked out. Well, it was my first time. My personal goals are a trip to the moon first, then see what else is out there, alien planets, black holes, supernova's...

It is 100% possible and yeah, it's as real as you wanna make it.

Portals are my favorite way of travelling to space because usually I can't breach the atmosphere flying. I know I created that context and it's totally in my power to breach it, but teleportation has become so easy for me that portals show up so frequently now without any real intention so I find myself in space all the time. In fact, if I see a portal in the sky and have to fly into it, I almost always end up somewhere where there's either no ground or gravity just doesn't exist.

Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.

I liked this pic I have in my sig. so I decided to visit it! I didn't find any aliens, just some bizarre animals on this beautiful Moon. the Picture is called Tropical Moon of Thetis, and can be found at digitalblasphemy.com in fact I think you'll find it to be a very inspirational site if you'd like to leave the planet!

I haven't been lucid yet, but I know a lot about it.

You are inside your mind, and your only limit is your imagination (which has no limit). You can go anywhere or do anything you want.
This is the date of my first lucid: 3/6/2010
It took WAY TOO LONG - but was completely worth it.

Well, I'm also very interested in space, and I once visited Jupiter in a non-lucid dream. It was pretty cool, but also really unrealistic (the spaceship door was open, Jupiter actually had solid ground, the outside looked like a Japanese temple, etc.) But still, this is something that I would very much like to do in an LD, to explore the outer reaches of space.

Visiting Planets and space is entirely possible in your dreams. The only thing is, the planets won't be like they are in real life (unless you have extensive knowledge of them). This is because lack of knowledge, means your mind is going to create the planets and surroundings however your mind imagines they would look.

that might actually be more fun, if you think about it. People think space is strange and mysterious now, how strange will it be coming from someone's dream

This is the task of the year for 2008 so yes, it's possible. I've been to other worlds a few times.

If you can become lucid and control your dream, you definitely can travel to outer space in the dream.

Lasy year I had a short lucid dream in which I was climbing out of some kind of shuttle, and then I tried beaming off into space, solo. This was a big moment for me because I have always fantasized about soaring through space and the stars in a dream.

But I didn't expect this to happen: in my dream, everything was so real, it was actually very scary. I was this tiny body, trying to fly up through space, and it was kind of terrifying actually. I couldn't do it!!!

I remember in a dream I went to Mars... It started out with me in Japan then I became lucid and decided to go to the moon, however I was going to fast and flew right past it, so I went to Mars. Kind of. It was green. And there was wildlife. And giant bugs for Martians. And a Church. But it was Mars. Kind of.

So yes, it's possible, if you make your dream accurate enough, to make some sort of simulation or something.

According to my own experience, its possible, I has been traveling around many dimensions actually and dif planets, I stopped doing random teleportations since I nearly died and sometimes I died in planets with no support for life <.<

Yeah. But people often find it difficult, as they have no realistic template for space as they have never been there. A common occurence is losing lucidity when attempting to visit space.

I've very easily gone into space in my lucids. As for realistic templates, I think seeing some scifi movie is more than enough inspiration for the brain. Anyhoo, it all depends on your level of confidence during the dream!
