from my limited experience, when you go into sp, at a certain point it will feel as if your heart is pounding like a jackhammer and your eyes will be twitching uncontrollably. you will also feel as if your consciousness has changed somehow, just go with that feeling and let go of your physical body (by that i mean try not to think about it) and go through into the dream as if you are flying into it, or it's coming towards you. it's hard to explain, i only managed to do this once and all the other times there were too many distractions and they kept pulling me back. it doesn't matter if you see anything or not, but once you "go through" you will see something eventually and be put in a situation. there is only a window opportunity though, for me it lasts about 20-30 secs before it fades away.

SP is different for everyone, and different at different times. Very few times have I noticed an increase in heart rate, and never have I noticed the eye movements.

Anyway, if you truly have sleep paralysis, it should get you in the dream naturally within a couple minutes of its arrival. If it lasts longer than a couple minutes, chances are you induced the sleep paralysis, and you probably won't get in.

yeah i understand what you're saying. i just don't feel like adding "it's different for everyone, and different at different times" every time i make a post lol. that should be obvious, but for me that's what happens. i guess i should have said something along those lines (i really did think about it) so that people don't expect to get the same results. and it's true that people don't even need to go through SP at all to WILD. there's tons and tons of things that can be added, but i was just giving advice from something that actually worked for me. it may or may not work for anyone else.
