Wow, I hate tings like these that just get people thinking "I should try this" and then forget about it. Anything that is about LDs should be aleast an hour.

Jesus christ, no wonder LDing has a bad rap.

Hey all techie guys! Wanna fuck the women of your dreams! Learn to lucid dream! It's as easy as writing in a notebook and hooking some lights up!

I especially liked the parts where ALL the oneironauts were male, half-naked women were flashed all over the screen, and the "dream state" looked like something right out of a B-horror movie. Yea, that certainly made it look like a real phenomenon. Lucid dreaming is much more than dream porn, it seriously pisses me off that someone actually tries to get the message out to the public and they make it all about one simple aspect of LDing and even that, they don't present well.

Ah well, thanks for posting the link anyway

      Its so sad but true..

Not really the way people should be interested.

I had 2 lucids last night, they were actually amazing.

Everything was so lifelike; I don't know how someone could destroy the dynamic experience of a lucid with some short lasting fantasy.

This is exactly the thing to get people interested, then forget about it.

But we don't want to sell LDs. I think that they should be for people who are dedicated. I don't want it to become too popular, do you?

I dont want to sell LDs either... Why would I want to?
But G4TV, on the other hand, does.
I was just stating the facts of what our society has come to. Doing whatever they can to make a buck.

Well the irony is that one's ability to lucid dream is perfectly free, it just requires some dedication on their part.
So it's amazing that you can sell someone something they already own freely. Yea, definitely gotta love it. Hopefully in the process of looking it up, more people will get directed to this site or elsewhere and realize what LDing actually is (of course not that anyone knows for sure )

I couldn't care less if it became popular. I'm free to do it and speak about it to the people around me. I guess a few people who are surrounded by the super-religious and/or close-minded would like for it to become more popular. LDing in itself is already a pretty private act, even if everyone on the planet knew about it/could do it, I still think I would get as much if not more out of it than I do now. I'm sure if it became a widely accepted, acknowledged, and practiced aspect of our society then there would be a huge growth in LDing resources... more research, more videos, more tutorials and induction techniques...

For people like LaBerge who spent years and effort conducting experiments and writing books so that everyone could prove/know about LDing... well, if some extremely lazy people spend $200 on a NovaDreamer, good for him. I think he deserves it for making so many people aware and for providing us with so much scientific support for LDing. Same with Dreamviews. If you had to pay to use this site, I would. It's become an invaluable resource to me.

I thought they made it sound pretty interesting, I mean sex is one of the amazing things about lucid dreaming, even though I've never had a memerable sexual experience out of my 300 some lucid dream experiences.

And nobody would like it if it was made out to be as tough as it really is sometimes, for a lot of people investing time and effort into something that is a very rare unknown hobby is not something they want to do sadly.

Lucid dreaming will probably be a hidden gem in society for along time to come, makes you wonder how many others are out there.

I'm happy any time lucid dreaming is mentioned. Even seeing it in the pulp is better than nothing.

About 100 of the first ones where counted from childhood and my earlier years of dreaming, then quite a bit past that came from WBTB, then later DEILD became my main method, I wrote a tutorial if you ever want to check it out.

They conveniently don't give you any direction of where to go for specific instructions of how to build a dream mask
Always know sometimes think it's me
But you know I know when it's a dream
I think I know I mean yes, but it's all wrong
That is I think I disagree

Yea, those are all over the net. I'd rather keep my $30 and sleep comfortably at night, but I'm guessing most of the people who saw the show and go for the mask wouldn't be willing to.
