i have gotten to a point where i can recall 2-3 dreams per night, i can remember them all in the morning with detail even if a haven't written a single dream down in a couple of weeks. So can i stop with the dream journal? |

Sure, its only to have fun and help with recall, if you don't find it fun nor need help with recall, I see no point in keeping one lol |

Why would you want to stop???? I really don't understand. Keeping a DJ is one of the highlights of the whole experience. To reread and remember your dreams? Why stop that? |

This guy,, and this guy,
, are mine. BACK OFF!
Agree with you! I just reread some of my dreams, and a couple of them had strong feelings in them. I remembered those feelings when I reread it, it was really nice. It can also be amusing to go back and read those oddball dreams, or to wonder what the heck you ate for dinner that made you have that dream. |

For us lazy people it brings more of a hassel than an actual reward. |

I got lazy and stopped and my recall and lucid dream frequency went down with it |
|
Dream diary forces recall. Since I started journalling I've remembered at least 1 dream a night, sometimes as much as 3. |

I highly disliked keeping my journal. I hate writing and it was just annoying writing down 3-5 dreams every morning. so i stopped ^_^ |

I wouldnt use words like FORCE when you are talking about dream journal. Dream journal is really an aid. And as you will progressively find out, it helps not only with recall, but with understanding yourself as a whole. |

don't stop the recall!!! |

I had six dreams last night I remembered when I woke up in the morning. They were almost all seperated with waking up too. |
|
I got to a point where I just hated writing my dreams down. Typically, they are very boring and not worth taking the time out of my morning to record. |
|
I wouldn't stop, but that's just me. If I stop, then at first I'll still remember most parts of a few dreams when I wake up, but over time, I slowly begin to lose my ability to remember... |
|
If you stop using your dream journal, basically your recall will lower. I stopped bothering to recall or record my dreams, and I was in this session for many months. The first night I decided to record the next morning, I remembered over 5 dreams, just because I had motivation and took the time to recall the next morning. Master your recall; 2-3 is okay, but you can definitely go further than that. |
