Right. Once, I dreamt about lucid dreaming. I was in my garage, threw some dice, the numbers changed, I went to my dream bed to try and lucid dream. Then I had an in-dream lucid dream, except I only "knew" I was dreaming when I was in-dream asleep.

He never said he realized he was dreaming. His last line just meant he was frustrated because he got so close to becoming lucid, and he's not had one lucid yet.

No. He missed his chance to become Lucid. He never said he was Lucid. If he did he wouldn't have posted here. You're right about the definition, though.

EDIT: Whoops! Didn't see Conquer's post. Dumb second page...Just came out of nowhere...

Ack, can't even tell you how many times I've missed becoming lucid because of small things.

One of the most obvious was where I dreamt I was flipping through my DJ, which was a bunch of post-it notes. (In real life it's a notebook.) And even then, I couldn't really make out the words. I just saw some kind of scribbles on the paper.

      2 nights ago...
I was in a room with a digital clock. It read 10:50. Then I kept asking DCs what the time was instead of looking at the clock again. When I finally did look at the clock again it read -02. Yes, no colon, just -02. I thought that the cable went out...

One time I was driving and I saw a bilboard that said "you are dreaming, do a reality check". So I do a RC and it doesn't work so I just keep driving.
157 is a prime number. The next prime is 163 and the previous prime is 151, which with 157 form a sexy prime triplet. Taking the arithmetic mean of those primes yields 157, thus it is a balanced prime.

The hand RC has also failed me...on more than one occasion. I'd just look at my hands in a dream - and behold - normal, so I MUST be awake!

I once thought I may be in a dream, so decided to do a RC. I counted seven fingers on one hand and surmised that I must just be really wasted, so I went back to my dream bed.

I did the hand RC, but I was wearing gloves and had three extra fingers. I became lucid, but it was still a REALLY obvious lucidity clue.

I love DEILD! SP is pwnage!

The other night I had a dream that my friends and I were hanging out in my yard. They all left, and I was left alone, looking around. I noticed a Windows Taskbar (yes!) with a clock in the lower-right hand corner of my field-of-vision. As if that weren't enough, the clock was morphing from 6:08 to 8:06 to 9:86 to 6:90, etc., and I didn't think twice about it!

Although, I was slightly more distracted by the wolf that was tearing the flesh from my bones at that time... I wish I had the awareness to attain lucidity and turn that wolf into an ice-cream cone!

I had a dream where my computer was turning off, a problem I had fixed in in real life. I realized I must be dreaming,so I woke myself up so I could go on the real computer.

the other day i was taking a nap and i woke up in sleep paralysis. i knew that SP commonly induces lucid dreaming on an easy scale.

i got excited when it happened to me and i tried waking up my girlfriend (who i'm guessing was in a light sleep) but i couldn't get any louder than a whisper and i couldn't pernounce my words fully.

i don't know why it didn't really cross my mind to try getting lucid. it was my first sleep paralysis experience and maybe i just got excited just for the experience. i think next time it happens, i will have intentions to step into the lucid dream world.

i didn't let this get to me though. i knew i made progress and i'm happy with that but it would have been a lot better if i got into a lucid dream.

lol, hope u get to it next time.

Now that I recall it, I once missed an extremely stupid opportunity when I was young. I didn't know yet about lucid dreaming, yet it would have been great to realize I was dreaming.

I entered my school through large steel gates that look like the entrance to the Lord Dracula's castle in Transylvania or something(creepy!), then I said Hi to one of my friends and looked at the playground. All the students were wearing green polo shirts(which weren't our school uniform, btw), and all had blue eyes! Almost no Egyptian has blue eyes!(those that I know of!).

I kinda felt that this must be a dream, but then something happened and I activated a machine that made me fly through a button in my chest(), then flew upwards, rescued some girls hanging from a laundry rope, and then blew up my whole school!!!!!!
