      prolonguing dreams- the YEPD

I am still new to lucid dreaming, and apart from being given the advice to stabilize and several stabilization techniques there is little info about how to get long dreams- mine only last several minutes atm. So I propose my experimental algorithm for ppl with the same issue. Hopefully this will help me and/or someone else have longer dreams. Came up with this right after a dream that was slightly longer than usual btw.

      TOTAL LD's (almost all DILD/MILD) =160!!

by the way its not technicly an algorithm, its just a structure diagram. sorry if im annoying, i just like to be exact and i like making a point.

but i think you did a great job, it will help beginers who dont quite undertand it.

p.s. heres the algorithm version(making it coz im bored)
      -----------------
      1. IF state = dreaming then
      2. DO RC
      3. FOR lucidity 1 to X
      4. shout("stabalise") OR LET hands = rubing
      5. let body_velocity = walking-speed AND LET eyes = looking-around
      6. loop
      --------------------

      lol

I'd put "reinforce lucidity" in the stabilize dream box. If you false awaken and reality check without becoming lucid, what good will that do? And even if you become lucid, it is good to remind yourself that it is only a dream, to make sure you are being efficient (Are you running when the monster isn't real?).

I really like this flowchart, though. Easy to follow and organized.

I think it is very clear and could really help some people who struggle with short LDs. The diagram is great, very self-explanitory.

Nice man, but I think the problem for me is not knowing what to do at the right moment(s), its remembering to question my reality at the right moment(s).

Shift you are a genius!!! I was able to have my first 6-8 min LD with a combination of the dream stabilization tutorial and the YEPD! full illustrated account here:
