Thread: reality check through doorways?

I do this, though lately I've been slacking off so I can't say result-wise.

I'm 99% sure it would work though since it is basecly what Dream Signs are all about. If it doesn't work then i don't know why people would use Dream Signs + RCs

It sounds like it would work great for you. Especially since you see them often in your dreams (I can't recall any doorways in mine).

But, when in a doorway, don't only reality check. Ask yourself if there is anything strange about your situation.

This is exactly what I did when I joined here. I don't seem to go through doorways very much in my dreams though so it never ended up helping in that sense. I think all the RCs I did due to this helped me get in that state of mind though.

well yeah ive noticed that in most of my dreams at some point i eventually walk through a door.that is the only dreamsign i have found so far.

As long as you pay attention every time you do it!!
Becuase think about it! One day you really could be dreaming!
So really pay attention every time you do it!
I do this, and I have became lucid I think 2 times from it now

Just remember, that a reality check isn't simply pinching your nose. If it were that easy we'd all be getting lucid all night every night.

When you go through a doorway, stop and look at the doorway. Why are you going through it? Where are you going? Should you be? Where are you on this side of the doorway? Where are you supposed to be on the other side of the doorway, and when you go through is it the right destination? Is the fact that you are going through the doorway logical, or is it some doorway you can't explain? etc.

thanks. ill do that cause when i dont walk through a door and i do realize to reality check. i just pinch my nose and be on my way. ill be more thorough when i reality check now. although im not in the habit of doing it everytime i walk through a doorway, ill get to that point if i just keep reminding myself

yes i have seen that youtube video, that was the video that gave me the idea.its not that its my dream sign its just doors seem like a good thing to use because alot of my dreams have them. like walking into another room.
