my recall is lost, if anyone finds it tell it to come back home.

ive tried auto suggestion for the past 3 days and all i can remember is about a picture from my dream... its weird becuase my recall was good when i used to LD last summer

      Focus on the autosuggestion phrase.

Keep a DJ of anything you remember.

      Try some lucid aids.

Wake yourself up in the middle of the night

      Wake up slower.

Sit for a few minutes when you wake up to try to remember dreams.
      Bollocks.

Try reading some of your old dream journal entries before bed, and during any WBTB. This reminds the mind to recall~

Lifestyle might have something to do with it. Are you still living healthy? Stress down to minimum? Drugs? Eating/drinking right... A lot of things affect dreams.

      any luck, wwe101?

keeping a journal and writing down whatever small dream fragment you can remember upon wakening up, that's a sure-fire way to kickstart your lost dream recall.

do NOT rely on auto-suggestion. I mean, you can try, but frankly, it's just stupid, when all you have to do is get a pen and a piece of paper.

if you have a notepad, USE IT.

When my recall slips, I try shifting my sleep schedule a little bit in one direction or the other. Try waking up 15 minutes earlier, or going to bed a little sooner/later. Your timing may be screwed up, so you are nowhere near a dream when you wake up. Try to get yourself to wake directly out of REM sleep.

You can also try to set an alarm in the middle of the night. Try to set it so it will wake you at a time you know you will be dreaming.

What do you think broke the dry spell? Did you try something different last night?

I think it was the slice of cheese.
