i tried a very basic WBTB last night. i got up, went to toilet, got into bed, and just lay there, waiting, with an 'empty'mind. |

i have tryed imagining that i'm infront of my house on the grass just walking about and stuff. |

When we sleep we breath a lot slower and more rhythmically. |

I try to breath slowly and evenly, but not in a forced way. I focus on a few breaths to help myself get deeply relaxed, then I stop thinking about my breathing altogether. The goal is to get yourself right on the edge of losing consciousness or falling asleep. If your breathing is distracting you, forget about it. On the other hand, if you are using it as something to focus on so you don't lose consciousness completely, then focus on it all you want. |
