i tried a very basic WBTB last night. i got up, went to toilet, got into bed, and just lay there, waiting, with an 'empty'mind.
after yonks of nothingness, i gave up after the mega itch on my nose was unbearable.
in the past, iv been able to get to SP much much quicker, thats why i gave up. after an annalysis the next morning, i realised what the problem was.
i was not relaxed enough. relaxation techniqes are very important for a WBTB WILD.
i suggest doing some stetches + some relaxed breathing (get in relaxing position, take very slow deep beaths and feel tension let go)
as for what to do with the mind, try imagining you are in a lucid dream. this is good for 3 reasons.
1)it replicates the brain paterns of a dream, so SP comes faster
2)the time will pass faster
3)it will be easier to ignor itches
try them out, they might work, they might not.
