I think it might have more to do with this old familiar comfortable couch than the comfy-ness of the actual sleeping surface. I found no change in my lucid frequency by what bed I was sleeping in. I have a ridiculously comfortable bed that feels like a big pillow, a much firmer mattress in NC, and my bed at school is like sleeping on a cement floor. No change, though. I recommend, before you spend the cash (because mattresses can be expensive) that you try out a few more sleeping surfaces over a longer period of time and see if you notice any differences. For the price of a mattress that might not do anything, you could probably spring for something like a novadreamer instead. |
