      Am I A Natural?!?!

Just a while after I began to keep a DJ, I started having 2 LD's per month, consistently. They are spontaneous, and don't seem to correspond to any technique from the cocktail of techs I use.

Only one has ever originated from an abnormality, and I can't WILD.

So, what is the verdict: AM I A NATURAL!?!?
Haven't had a lucid dream in 3 years, and I'm looking to get back into it.

I consider a natural to be able to have 4-6 LDs a week without having to put any effort into it.

So no, I don't think you are a natural but some people learn faster than others.
      Keep on trying!

A lot of members consider a "Natural" to be a person that had Lucids with little to no effort for a long time if not most of their lives. Most of the naturals I see and know have been doing it since childhood. So no. You've jsut been having a good amount of Lucid time,

there has been so much debate on what a natural is these boards. I suggest you enjoy the fact that you can have 2 lucids a month with very little effort.

naturals are people that spontaneously have lucids, especially since childhood, without having to apply any effort or do anything to maintain them. Wouldn't consider you a natural, no but you seem to be getting good at LD's, keep practicing! You don't have do be a natural to enjoy having many LD's.

As everyone has mentioned, there's no actual definition to the term 'natural' in the case of lucid dreaming. Since you're asking, what are YOUR criteria for being a natural? By mine, you are not. If you had said 2/week, even then I'd say no. Like Akono said, enjoy your mental epiphany and the lucids it brings you. Use this time to really solidify how you can become lucid in case it goes away.

Okay. I'll just ride the 2 free LD's per month, and try my hardest to have more. Thanks!

If you mantain a dream journal, and the heightened awareness of dreams that this inevitably brings, then DILDS are inevitable. So no, not a natural.

My definition of "Natural" is generally someone who feels the need to brag on internet forums.

I suspect theres less significantly less actual "naturals" than people who claim to be so.
      Lucid Dreams:-
      MILD/DILD: 79
      WILD: 13
      DEILD:13
      (TOTAL: 108 )

notice how she had em since a very young age and didn't use any techniques and would "snap into" realizing she is dreaming, night after night- that's a natural.

lucid dreams are not limited to those who pursue them. its very common for people to have lucid dreams, but without taking the time to remember their dreams they will never remember them. so i guess.. it is "natural" for you to have unprovoked lucid dreams. but if you mean to think that you are natural, or otherwise special.. that is unlikely.

If you've gotten the answers you were looking for, perhaps you should PM a DG/mod/admin to lock it.
