Thread: talking about dreaming in a dream

Thats pretty cool, it happend to me once but I RC just to make sure.

That's basically just a form of a reality check. However, it would be easier to make a habit of looking at your hands in real life, or something along the lines of that (hands are usually weird looking in dreams, so that would indicate to you that you're dreaming). There's plenty of different RCs you can use, whatever works for you.

Like you said, you could make a habit of talking about dreams in real life, I'm just saying there's easier ways to do it if you want.

I know exactly what you mean. like think about the scenarios you're often in, within dreams, find simliar scenarios in real life, and tie your lucid dreaming instincts onto those scenarios. making them trigger thoughts when you're dreaming

i suppose it is pretty much an RC, sort of.

That is his Les Paul. His guitar is actually a transformer, it changed into that guitar before the show.

This reminded me of a dream I had the other night, I was at my high school and saw a helicopter crash and explode on the softball field (it was actually a pretty cool looking explosion) and thought something about at least it's a dream helicopter, a real one crashing would be worse. I woke up like "FFFUUUUUUCCKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!! "

I always miss the hint when I start talking about dreams. I feel like an idiot afterwards, too.

I've talked to my friend about how I kept seeing him in my dreams (which I did) and how I always tried to remember to RC but kept forgetting.

Aha ditto! I once even dreamt that I was explaining the concept of lucid dreaming to someone, talking about RCs and the like, and I STILL didn't notice. Duh!
