Well, I have been doing a lot of RCs in the past days. I have slowly decreased a lot over the last few days. |

I think I'd be leaning more to the WILD side. It seems more appealing to me, and more reliable. |
|
Yeah, I am currently trying to master WILD. |

How many is "a lot?" |
|
I think that 9 dreams isn't that many and I think you shouldn't worry yet about not being able to DILD. It can take months before you actually carry over the habit of doing RC's into dreams. |

"How can you be aware that you're dreaming, if you're never aware that you're awake?"
If you think you can't DILD, you can't. If you think you can, and are persistent, you can. DILD, summarized in two sentences. |

Hidden is absolutely right. The two things I think you need to have lucids are confidence and motivation. Keep at it, I know you can get it! Good luck! |
|
Yes just keep at it. Sometimes it will take awhile before your brain gets use to it, but I bet once it does you will start getting LDs, so basically it may take awhile at first, but it pays of in the long run. Good Luck |

The MILD technique has done wonders for me, it is essentially a DILD triggered by a suggestion you plant in you own mind before going to sleep. just look up MILD on the forums, it should help you out. |

"everything in life must come to an end, preferably in a humongous explosion"
I think that you just need to give it time. You should be using RC's a lot more often during the day if you expect to make it a habitual action in your dreams. It takes almost a month to form a habit, so until then, faithfully keep a dream journal and do your RC's. Other than that, learning to WILD is a good idea (more reliable, etc...like everyone else said). You may just need to think about dreaming more. Spend a little time every day, especially before you go to bed, if you can, on Dream Views reading tutorials, or people's dream journals, or your own dream journal, just to get your mind on lucid dreaming. Also, tell yourself that you'll have lucid dreams, and MEAN IT. Positive affirmations will be one of your keys to success! Good luck. |

You know, FYI, once you've had a small handful of lucids, you may get a DILD with little to no work on your part, just so you know! This happens to me. I always get DILDs without trying. Of course, I've had quite a bit and remember my dreams, plus, pure luck is also involved. So, if you want, focus on WILDs now, and there's a good chance that some DILDs will come naturally |

Might I suggest that you work on MILD, DILD, WILD (when you get the chance), and DEILD (once again, when you get the chance), using a combination of all of these will help you get lucid faster, because you can figure out which ones produce better results. |
