What are good questions to ask DCs?

I hear you can get some really interesting responses, but most of my DCs speak in a very quite, vague, puzzling way... if they answer me at all. :c

      I want to try asking...

      - How do I stop racism
      - How do I write the best story ever written (it probably won't be the best, but I'm just curious as to what the answer might me)
      - How do I make someone fall in love with me (I don't have anyone in mind but I figure it might come in handy sooner or later)
      - Tell me the funniest joke ever

      What are other good ones?

      Here are a few:

"So, what do you do when I'm not lucid?"
"Have you ever visited someone else's subconscious?"
"So, did I do a good job creating you?"
"What do you want/wish above all else?"
"Are you happy with your existence?"
"What is the first word that pops into your head...now!?!
"When and how will I die?"
"Can I borrow five bucks for gas?"
      "Can I have your autograph?"
"What did you get on your SAT?"
"If you could be someone else, who would you be?"

"Do you have a free will?"
"Do I have a free will?"

"What is the difference between, say Mozart and I, and how do reach my full potential in life?"

"What is your favorite place in my imagination?"

"Tell me the best poem you have ever read or written"

"What is the difference between you and me?"
"What is the difference between waking life and dreaming life?"

My curiosity about what the answer to these kinds of questions and other creative things are a big part of the reason why I want to relearn to lucid dream (haven't been lucid in quite a while)
Love these kind of threads ^^

I like asking my DCs any question. The more personal, the better. I try to remember that they are a part of my own mind. Ask them things like, "Do you like me?" "Tell me something about myself." or "Do you recognize me?". There was a forum all about this over at MM. People got some interesting responses. Maybe we should start a thread where we all post our results to these types of questions.

      Agreed, that would be awesome...

I like to think DC's as a part of me and my mind... But when you dream it's only your by knowing the fact that when you wake you haven't shared the experience with anyone and that you have the possibility of doing things you otherwise wouldn't be able to that makes dreaming different from being awake. Because of that I also think of DC's as other people.

Great idea. I recently saw the waking life version of a DC I asked questions to, and she said, "That sounds exactly like what I would have said!" Then, I had to wonder if it was a shared dream that she forgot!

Ask them dream related questions like...

"Do you know who I am"
"Do you know you're not real"
"Did you know this is MY WORLD??"
"What would you do if you were dreaming?

And other things like that, oh and there is a chance they might get angry when you tell them they arn't real but you can make them accept it

"Can I do anything for you?"

"Is there anything you'd like to experience while we're dreaming?"

OH MAN greats questions guys!! I'm going to try a few of these next time I'm Lucid!! Oh I got one:

My second time I became lucid I managed to levitate a cat and a DC asked me:

      "How are you doing that?"

I'm like, oh it's a dream power I just learned like right now!

"She's like whos dream is it? Am I dreaming?"

And I'm like , NAhhhh it's my dream.

Then some black guy came out of nowhere and he's like wait so I'm just a dream to? Can you explain this to me and my friends?

So I go to some coffeeshop where all his friends are the cast from lost (even though i dont watch lost) and I began discussing how they are just figments of my dreams. So funny. I laughed so hard in my dream.

      "Show me your pockets"
"Can you take me to the dream of another person?"
      "Sing me your favourite song?"
"Can you teach me to speak Latin?"
"What's the meaning of life? Don't say me 42! xD
"Tell me your best story of fear"
"Take me tonight to the best beach over the world and teach me to kiss as only you know"(if the DC is a pretty girl, of course xD yes I'm the romantic one )

I'll try to ask something tonight

Lucid dreams were originally studied within psychical research, read about the man who coined the phrase"lucid dreaming".

"We are here however on the borders of a realm of mystery where we have to advance very carefully. To deny may be just as dangerous and misleading as to accept." Frederick Van Eeden

I like that one. I always think of asking some questions myself. To my spirit guides though, if you believe in them. Unless you have excellent dream recall, I would just ask 1 or 2 questions per dream. That way you are more likely to remember and can analyze your answer.
