Don't you HATE when somebody wakes you up! :@

So I'm in a dream last night, wasn't lucid but it was intense and fun and I was controlling what I was doing during the dream (which sometimes could be even better then a lucid) and my f***in' sister woke me up to ask for some bus change THAT WAS ON MY DESK! I hate how my family knows I do this and they wake me up for stupid reasons! Just take the frikin' change!! Just let me DREAM!
Wake me up if there is a fire or something that makes sense but CHANGE!!!!?

Don't you just hate it when that happens!?

Ah, at least you weren't woken after taking the time to tell them to not wake you up...
But yes, that is so... annoying!

OH I tell them! every night before bed I threaten my whole family that I will destroy them if they wake me up! I even got a piece of paper with marker on my door saying: "I swear to God DO NOT WAKE ME UP!" But still, they wake me up sometimes. URG

Yeah... they don't understand the beauty of dreams like we do. Haha nightmares are so cool and they stand out more.

Well look on the bright side, after they wake you up try to do a WBTB or WILD. I think it would suck a little more if you finally got into a lucid dream and then your alarm for your WBTB goes off and snaps you out of it. Then you have only yourself to blame which would be very frustrating.

      YES!!!
this is a major GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR R
      for me.
I have trained people to knock lightly, to touch softly, etc... even that bothers me. Alarms bother me too. Or used to.
i like it best when i sleep as long as i want. PERIOD!
      but... ah, reality...
lately, i am asking people NOT to wake me up when i need to awaken at a certain time. I am experimenting more with gentle alarms because I dream of people waking me up in my sleep!!! EEEKkks.
      It's my weird HI problem.
So... I got rid of that problem. I think the traniquil alarms are the best.

      Good one.

It hasn't ever really bothered me. My girlfriend has woken me up from an intense-fully aware lucid dream but it was near the end anyway so I didn't really care. I was really just glad that I got the nice experience. It wasn't for a dumb reason either, I had to leave to drop her off at school.

Other than that, I haven't really been bothered with this.

actually, now that you mention it, I have done the WBTB after getting woken up and it has worked... BUT STILL lol.

I always have false awakenings where I dream my girlfriend is trying to wake me up for some stupid reason. She never actually does, but I still have nightmares about the possibility.

I know exactly what you mean, just the other night i was having a dream in which i was very near lucid, i was to the point where i was essentially in control of my actions, but not aware i was dreaming, in this type of dream i nearly always become lucid rather quickly. instead of becoming lucid however, i was very quickly woken by my brother yelling, "HEY I NEED YOUR KEYS, i gotta get in your car i left something in there". i was extremley angry when i woke up beacause i remembered the dream right away, i didnt actually give him the keys, and i never did get a lucid that morning.

i'm glad you said that, robot butler. that's kind of what happens to me. only i'm learning to ignore them.

or if it's in a lucid i will talk to the DC should this occur that's my plan.

i want to get to the point where i can tell whether it's real or not! which is why i am swichting to having NO ONE wake me up any more.

that way when i do an RC... it can't be real.

often if i've asked someone to wake me up in the past, ao i could never be sure.
      but not now.

still...often i hear little creaks in the house that sound like knocking.

that's why i've gone all "tranquil alarm" in this bedroom!

I go through a dilemma everytime I set my alarm clock for a WBTB; what if I am in the middle of a lucid dream and the alarm goes off? It literally keeps me up at night .

I so do hate this! Usually though, my parents or sis don't just wake me up directly, it happens indirectly because they're on the computer, tv, or talkin in my basement! I am such a light sleeper! My dad'll or sister'll have the tv on "as softly as possible" but it still will wake me up! You know when there are those shows where the voices are quiet and the music is blaring? I tell them not to have the tv on downstairs when I'm still sleeping, but no, they still will do it sometimes! Then, sometimes I will fall back to sleep just because the noise was done!
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

Yeah, that sucks. Well it would suck. I never get woken up by people. Though my fami;y doesn't know I do this. No big deal though. I only get woken up by other people when I have to go somewhere important.

      Angry

      Oh, yes.
I am either lucid dreaming, dream sharing or in astral doing something at the time I get woken up...every morning.
What is the absolute worst is either being woken from a lucid flying dream or when I am being told something important and DO NOT TO BE DISTURBED!!!
~never am I woken from a pain in the ass, boring, or psychological processing dream~
Being startled out of dreams or trance leaves me discombobulated and angry.
