Exclamation Just learned about lucid dreaming, but can already do it???

Only a couple hours ago did I figure out about lucid dreaming, I'm only 15 so it probably has something to do with this, but I find it very easy to recall my dreams. I usually remember exact details in my dreams and such, and I just want to know more on how to get in-depth with this and learn how to use it more frequently or what not. Should I not try at all since I'm so young?

Also, I did notice that when I'm running, I tend to run slow (slower than usual) or turn slow, that's how I've tended to realize I'm dreaming.

Is that a bad thing or if anyone else can recall did they tend to move slower than usual?

      Thanks for any help

You know, I've run and turn slowly quite often in my dreams, but I've never paid it any attention, so I've never become lucid. Now that you've mentioned it, I realise that I can now use this as dream sign!

I can't see anything bad about running slowly, although it does frustrate me in my dream, especially when I am trying to escape something.

I do run slowly in dreams, or I just stumble all over myself, but I rarely become lucid from noticing it. I usually pass it off as being drunk.

Welcome to Dreamviews! There is definately no age limit on lucid dreaming. You running slow/turning slow is your dream sign. Every time you do this in the future you should know you are dreaming. If you want to get some more information on lucid dreaming, you should check out the tutorials section on this site. There is alot of good information there, here is the link: http://dreamviews.com/community/forumdisplay.php?f=25

You certainly aren't too young to lucid dream. Some children are quite good at it, because of their imagination and such.

Whenever I run in dreams, which isn't all that often, i too run very slowly. Many people do.
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

In some of my dreams I can't see and my vision is all slow like frame vision. I guess I gotta take this as my dream sign and try to get lucid off of it?

Yes Conzo, that could be easily used as a dream sign to make you lucid.

Criteria192, Nice, just Nice, some people take atleast months (even naturals) to get the hang of lucid dreaming, now you said you wanted to get more "in depth"? wich one of these in this list would best suit your desire...

1.you want to Notice your dreams more (the fact of being within the dream)
1.A: watch for your dream signs and over time they'll become more obvious to you
2.you want the dreams themselves to be more "alive"
2.A:I'm not so sure, for me i take supplements but i think Naiya has a tut for Mild's and WILD's and 1 of his "ways" is to focus on being aware of your surroundings at all times (IE feel your fingers on the mouse[go read his tut])
      3. just getting lucid
3.A: go find a style of attaining lucidity that works for you, i use DILD's and for Dild's what you do to improve upon them is to frequently to Reality Checks so that when your dreaming, your dreaming mind will automatically do a reality check within the dream one day, causing you to become lucid as you realise that your within a dream.

Note:i left this page like 9 times so i can garuntee some confusion within my words

Thanks guys, the support is well welcomed.

To Majinaki, I just want to be able to do it more often, I can usually go lucid every once a month or 2 weeks, just want to get it to maybe 2 nights a week?

Acctually, when I run in a dream, my feet move slowly, but I move fast! And, Lucid Dreaming is just like playing fotball or basketball. You have to practise to get better. There are some who think that if they don't get results right away, they can't do lucid dreaming. That is wrong. You can certantly learn it and I can almost garantee you that if you work hard, you will have more than one lucid dream the next 2 months at least, if not less!
